Description
Multitask Personnel is working with growing and ambitious business
operating in the exciting and rapidly changing energy and utilities
sector to recruit for Account/Sales Manager, reporting to the Business
Development Director. You will be responsible for delivering sales growth
of the Asset Installation and Asset Management services. This growth will
primarily be through sales direct to energy suppliers. You will be
responsible for identifying and generating potential sales leads and
opportunities and managing the process of converting these into active
and successful energy suppliers. In addition you will identify
opportunities where product development of our services would enhance
sales and communicate these to the team.
The role requires the close collaboration with the Group Head of Sales to
support the development a successful business plan, a strategic approach
to lead generation, business development activity and market positioning
and also working with a variety of business areas including Commercial,
Account Management & Operations.
The main duties include:
* Business development, marketing and sales activity to new / potential
customers
* Develop new strategic business relationships in order to widen the
partnership channel in line with sales targets.
* Spend the majority of time in direct sales talks with clients.
* Identify and follow-up your own sales leads as well as those
generated elsewhere in the group.
* Actively and successfully manage the end-2-end sales process: lead
generation; credentials pitch; pre-qualification; proposal
generation; negotiation; close.
* Record all sales activity and report monthly against agreed
objectives to the Business Development Director on pipeline and
success.
* Communicate with the Group Sales Director and Senior Leadership Team
(SLT) on a monthly basis with regard to pipeline in order to support
the sales process.
* Support industry trade shows and events undertaking presentations to
raise the company and services profile.
* Actively participate in the business planning process in order to
ensure a cross-company understanding and commitment to the strategic
goals.
* Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
* Keeping abreast of issues affecting the water and energy consultancy
market including collecting competitor intelligence
Salary Negotiable depending on experience
