Business Development / Account Executive

PIB is a growing group of insurance advisory businesses. The business is growing rapidly through acquisitions and by employing outstanding individuals with a wealth of knowledge and experience across the insurance market.

Position: Account Executive / Business Development
Location: Thistle: Leeds, West Yorkshire (Commutable from Halifax, Bradford, Harrogate, Wetherby, Wakefield, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Barnsley and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Excellent + Car / Car Allowance

About the role:

We are looking for a Business Development / Account Executive to support the growth of the business through the delivery of key strategic plans through the servicing of existing customers and prospecting. You will achieve renewal retention and new business targets, whilst exceeding customer expectations and meeting FCA requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Hold and maintain business relationships with clients and prospects and develop new business from existing relationships.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer contact, and provide accurate and timely MI, Planning and Forecasting for profitability and growth of the accounts.
- Communicate with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure maximised communication techniques to meet the needs of both Clients and internal processes
- Effectively influence others to secure the achievement of the strategic aims and objectives keeping people engaged and motivated.

About you:

- Working towards attainment of Certification Level qualification then Diploma on completion
- Experience in a target focused environment
- Knowledge of housing association practices
- Commercial knowledge of insurance industry
- and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand people and build rapport, and adapt styles of communication accordingly
