Description
Our client is a leading name within global financial services. They are looking for a Middle Office Manager to join their flourishing team on a permanent basis.

The Middle Office Manager will take responsibility for the following:

* Process improvements (which may include systems implementation) and creating efficiencies
* People management of a team of 6, which will include holiday approvals, 1 to 1s, recruitment of new staff and training
* Acting as an escalation point for dealing queries
* Dealing directly with fund managers
* Checking deals are processed correctly

The Middle Office Manager will meet the following skillset:

* Previous experience within an investment environment essential
* Proven people management experience (this will including the recruitment, training and development of staff, performing 1 to 1s, hiring and firing)
* Strong knowledge of funds across asset classes (particularly of OEICs and Unit Trusts)
* Experience of dealing with complex process improvements
* Excellent working knowledge of Excel

This is an excellent opportunity for a Manager with experience in an investments house (Back Office or Middle Office) to join the team at a leading financial services firm on a permanent basis.
