JOB TITLE: Chemical Technical Sales Executive
LOCATION: South Manchester / Cheshire based. Covering UK and Overseas markets
PRODUCTS: Speciality Chemicals
PACKAGE: Up to £50k base salary + package including executive level company car, excellent pension scheme, private healthcare for employee, spouse and children if in full-time education and other benefits


- Multi-national manufacturer and distributor of speciality chemicals
- Fully committed to ongoing chemical R & D and have some really exciting growth plans in place moving forward
- Superb reputation built over many decades


- The Chemical Technical Sales Executive will have a degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific subject
- 3 + years technical sales or client facing technical service experience
- Flame retardant industry experience is highly desirable
- Other backgrounds considered textiles / plastics industry
- Good interpersonal, negotiating and communication skills are essential
- Export sales experience within South Asia would be a big plus
- Full UK driving licence

- The Chemical Technical Sales Executive will be required to maintain and develop profitable sales of flame retardants and performance chemicals
- Office based Export role with around 8 weeks of travel per year particularly to India and Pakistan
- Manage agencies and distributors in oversees territories
- Proactively identify new market opportunities as well as manage key existing client relationships
- Be responsible for planning, scheduling and organising sales calls, promotion visits, rates and numbers of customer visits
