That\u2019s why we are delighted to announce our partnership with<\/span> Pineapple Support<\/b><\/a> – a leading organisation that has been providing <\/span>mental health services for sex workers<\/b><\/a> and adult industry professionals since 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

Together, we\u2019re working to promote well-being, reduce stigma, and ensure that everyone in the adult community has access to safe and compassionate mental health care.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Is Pineapple Support?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Pineapple Support Society<\/b> is a <\/span>free mental health and therapy service<\/b> for anyone working in the online or offline adult industry – no matter their gender, ethnicity, background, age, or sexual orientation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The organisation has an ever-growing team of <\/span>sex-worker-friendly, kink-aware therapists<\/b> who offer both <\/span>online therapy<\/b> and in-person sessions. Pineapple Support operates <\/span>24\/7<\/b>, providing vital mental health support, professional counselling, and emotional wellbeing resources tailored to the realities of sex work and adult content creation.<\/span><\/p>\n

For many in the industry, Pineapple Support is more than a service – it\u2019s a lifeline.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why \u201cPineapple\u201d?<\/span><\/h2>\n

The name \u201cPineapple\u201d was chosen for a simple but powerful reason: it\u2019s one of the most commonly used <\/span>safe words<\/b> in the United States. Just as a safe word creates a boundary and offers protection, <\/span>Pineapple Support<\/b> exists to provide a safe space for those who need help – a place where you can stop, breathe, and receive care without fear of judgment.<\/span><\/p>\n

In other words, Pineapple Support is the <\/span>adult industry\u2019s safe word<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Story Behind Pineapple Support<\/span><\/h3>\n

Pineapple Support<\/b> was founded by <\/span>Leya Tanit<\/b>, a British performer who was deeply affected by the number of industry-related suicides reported in late 2017 and early 2018. After attending the XBIZ and AVN Awards, Leya realised that something needed to change – performers needed access to <\/span>mental health care designed for their world<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

From that moment, Pineapple Support was born.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since launching in 2018, the organisation has grown rapidly thanks to its dedicated <\/span>directors, volunteers, therapists, and ambassadors<\/b>. Today, Pineapple Support helps thousands of people across the globe with <\/span>therapy sessions, crisis support, and wellness programmes<\/b> designed specifically for those working in adult entertainment.<\/span><\/p>\n
