A liquid/water-cooled automotive alternator (such as those used in certain BMW, Land Rover, or Mercedes-Benz V8/diesel engines), featuring an integrated pulley/freewheel clutch mechanism and coolant connection ports. Core Component: A compact, high-output water-cooled generator designed to manage heavy electrical loads while operating at lower temperatures and quieter noise levels than traditional air-cooled units. Key Features Visible: The grooved serpentine belt pulley with an integrated overrunning clutch, the electrical terminal connection (B+ stud with nut), and the rear casing ports for engine coolant circulation. This specific item is a 150-Amp Water-Cooled Alternator manufactured by Bosch (or an OEM licensee) specifically for older BMW V8 engines. Vehicle Compatibility has been added as an image due to space constraint. Bought spanking new, never used.
