A PHP Developer is required to join a close-knit development team working for this highly respected specialist software Company based in Bristol on a permanent basis This is a hybrid role requiring one day on site. The PHP Developer role will be responsible for developing sophisticated and simple to use web application functionality including technical documentation, participating in new feature development, bug fixing, customizations, software support and technology upgrade projects. The successful PHP Developer will be working in a self-organizing Agile environment, where all team members are expected to proactively contribute to all relevant ceremonies, and where teamwork is always recognized and appreciated. Produce policies and procedures as appropriate to ensure a formal framework for the Finance Function and its interactions with non-Finance staff. Maintain third party relationships, including external accountants, bank representatives, pension scheme representatives, customers, suppliers, legal representatives and insurance brokers, as appropriate to role. Undertake project work as appropriate – this may cover areas such as contract negotiation, systems evaluation, sourcing of suppliers and identifying areas for improvement in company performance.
