This is an excellent opportunity for Qualified Nurses to utilise their clinical knowledge and assessments skills to carry out remote or in person assessments on behalf of the DWP and DfC to assist them in making important decisions about a persons health and care. There are full-time and part-time positions available. Full training will be provided, and hours of work will be during the day from Monday to Friday. Starting salary is £35,000, rising to £36,000 after training monthly bonus up to 10%. Additional benefits including pay reviews, company matched pension, life assurance, 15 weeks full paid maternity, cycle2work scheme and plenty more Duties: Undertake an assessment of an individual who is making a claim taking into account all of the information presented including any supporting evidence e.g. the claimants completed questionnaire and information from GPs etc. Carry out a comprehensive review and analysis to enable you to complete a robust, structured report which will then be presented. This report will contain a detailed history of the claimant condition(s) including information gathered on the functional impact of their health condition or impairment on their daily living and mobility, their current medication and treatment. You will provide a full justification explaining how you came to these conclusions from the evidence gathered and define the probable timescales over which a health condition or impairment may affect the claimant. EC Project Manager
We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the dynamic and international team at the ELIXIR Hub in Hinxton near Cambridge, UK. The main purpose of this role will be to provide PM support to internal and externally funded Infectious Diseases Activities (COVID-19) (e.g BY-COIVD, ELIXIR-CONVERGE and forthcoming grants) including the preparedness for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. These activities are expected to last until 31/4/2025 in alignment with the anticipated duration of Horizon Europe emergency calls and the ELIXIR internal projects. As a member of the ELIXIR Project Management Office you will support the PIs and Scientific Leads under the supervision of the Head of the ELIXIR Project Management Office. You will work closely with the ELIXIR PIs, Project Managers, Technical Coordinators, External Relations and the administrative team, as well as with colleagues at the 23 national ELIXIR Nodes and other project partners throughout Europe. This is a dynamic role and you will have the chance to actively contribute to further development of good project management practice and strong project management capabilities within the ELIXIR Hub and wider ELIXIR organisation. Your role Playing an active role ensuring that project deadlines, targets and objectives are successfully achieved by providing support, pro-active management and guidance to work-package leaders and partners; Contributing to the day-to-day management of project risks and opportunities including managing project performance indicators and risk register; Assisting the planning and budgeting processes, assembling and analysing metrics and outcomes, ensuring that all reporting requirements are met; Assisting with managing changes in the large consortium; Effectively and proactively communicating operational outcomes, risks, and ongoing processes to the ELIXIR Project Managers; Representing ELIXIR, in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
