Free Regular Cleaner Offered

I’m looking for a slightly unusual regular arrangement with someone local who could genuinely make use of an extra pair of hands around the house.

I’m offering regular domestic help completely free: cleaning, ironing, laundry, tidying, dishes, changing bedding, organising, errands and the other repetitive jobs that are easy to put off.

The important bit is that I’m not looking for somebody who feels awkward about accepting free help. I’d actually prefer the opposite.

I’m looking for someone confident and fairly demanding who is comfortable simply telling me what needs doing and expecting it to be done properly. You don’t need to keep thanking me, apologising for giving me work, helping alongside me or worrying that you’re asking too much.

If the bathroom needs another clean, tell me. If I’ve ironed something badly, give it back. If there’s another basket waiting when I’ve finished the first one, that’s fine. I’d rather have clear expectations and high standards than somebody trying to make the arrangement feel “fair”.

You can treat the household jobs as my responsibility while I’m there. Give me a list, add things as you notice them, check the result and be straightforward if something isn’t up to your standard.

Ideally I’m looking for somebody who would enjoy having regular help enough that, after a while, they naturally expect me to turn up and get on with it rather than treating every visit as an enormous favour.

No payment or exchange of favours wanted. I’m doing this because I genuinely like being useful and I prefer a clear, unequal division of roles rather than the usual polite back-and-forth.

Regular arrangement preferred. Adults only. Happy to chat beforehand and make sure we’re both looking for the same sort of setup.
