Alpha Flight #94 - Published 8th January 1991 Ben Grimm (The Thing) is in Canada to help Alpha Flight, but the team's resident powerhouse, Walter Langkowski (Sasquatch), has been mentally compromised. Driven into a feral, brainwashed rage, Sasquatch is no longer in control of his actions and views everyone as a threat. 8.0 Grade - Very slight wear beginning to show around the staples and stress points owing to the comic being opened and read (carefully) two or three times and stored away with some care. For American comics, most of the cover lustre still remains and for British comics the cover should be flat, uniform creamy or off-white with only a few very minor stress creases at the spine. For American comics, only the tiniest spine wear at the top or bottom but no cover marks, no tears, no prominent creases (perhaps 2mm and quite hard to spot). The pages can be creamy or off-white but in no way yellowing and with no darker page edges. For Very Fine, think simply Very Sharp.

Alpha Flight #4 - Published 24th September 1997 The story opens at a small restaurant, just outside Montreal. Flex, Murmur, Radius, and Sunfire are sitting at a table, eating and conversing while a waitress brings them water to drink. They are all in uniform. Nearby sits MEstero, also in uniform, who seems to be reading a newspaper. The narrator reveals that Mesmero is actually listening to their conversation and trying to form a plan of what to do. 9.0 Grade - Very slight wear beginning to show around the staples and stress points owing to the comic being opened and read (carefully) two or three times and stored away with some care. Alpha Flight #-1 - Published 14th May 1997 The story opens outside a church. It is James MacDonald Hudson’s wedding day and the bridegroom is getting dressed just outside the building. His best man Logan is helping James by tying his bow tie. Logan wants to make sure that James knows what he is doing with this wedding. He asks whether "Mac" knows where to stand within the church, and James answers that he does know. Logan then instructs him to not not mumble his marriage vows, because it will make him sound insincere. The implication will be that James is not certain he wants to get married. 9.0 Grade - Very slight wear beginning to show around the staples and stress points owing to the comic being opened and read (carefully) two or three times and stored away with some care. Alpha Flight #6 - Published 12th November 1997 The story opens at the Department H Headquarters. Sasquatch has somehow managed to escape his cell and then vanished. General Jeremy Clarke and Puck are investigating the broken remains of the cell to determine what happened. Clarke claims that Department H has no idea how or when did the beast escape. Puck does not believe him, already knowing that every room in this building has an operational camera. Clarke replies that Sasquatch kept destroying the camera in his cell due to its position close to his shackled arm. They reportedly had yet to replace the last camera or approved the paperwork needed to reposition it. Puck seems to be convinced that the Department's bureaucracy caused the failure. 8.5 Grade - Very slight wear beginning to show around the staples and stress points owing to the comic being opened and read (carefully) two or three times and stored away with some care. Alpha Flight #95 - Published 12th February 1991 Aurora enters a church in Toronto seeking advice. In confession, she says that she has sought to conform the ways of others to her own through violence. She explains her life up to this point and her discomfort at using her ability in a violent way. The priest tells her that if she wishes to use her ability to give serenity, she should, though only in the way she wishes. Later she finds several homeless asking for money. She says she can't give them all money and instead uses her power to give them hope. 5.0 Grade - An average, second-hand, obviously read copy with marks and minor defects but still respectable and appealing. Printing lustre almost gone but not soiled or heavily stained and no tape evident, apart from a small piece of magic tape to repair a tear. There is noticeable wear on the spine and even the start of a spine roll and one staple may be slightly loose. The pages may be yellowing with the first signs of slight brownin

Alpha Flight #96 - Published 12th March 1991 The Master of The World stands aboard his Plodex spacecraft, dictating a diary entry with his pet falcon, Vesuvius, for company. On his monitoring systems, he sees that the Alreyda has run aground in the Queen Maud Gulf and is slowly spilling over five hundred millions of crude oil into the water. Alpha Flight arrive to help with the relief effort. He decides to amuse himself by cloning a human specimen in the clothes of an Alreyda crewman and teleporting it into the lower corridors of the tanker. 5.5 Grade - The basic minimum for most collectors but depends on your budget! This is a comic with wear showing on the edges or stress around the staples. Still clean and flat with a small mark or cover writing but I do mean small. Pages may be yellowing slightly but no brown edges. Above average, read a few times and stored away with at least some concern. A staple may be detached but, if that' the case, the rest of the comic should appear Very

Alpha Flight Annual #2 - Published 25th August 1987 On a mission to the south pole, the team encounters dinosaurs, but these prehistoric monsters are soon to be the least of their problems! 6.5 Grade - The basic minimum for most collectors but depends on your budget! This is a comic with wear showing on the edges or stress around the staples. Still clean and flat with a small mark or cover writing but I do mean small. Pages may be yellowing slightly but no brown edges. Above average, read a few times and stored away with at least some concern. A staple may be detached but, if that' the case, the rest of the comic should appear Very Fine. For British comics, a little more wear on the spine and cover is permissible and there may be some corner curl evident. British comics are all shapes and sizes so corners and edges suffer more. Again, think that this is a comic that has clearly been looked after in its history.
