All wood (may be elm/oak ?)antique chair that was repaired on one arm before we were donated it (my drama group for use in plays)but is very sound and indeed cos of dark stain hardly noticeable.Skilled restorer could probably fix it without need for brackets.Similarly the small crack in one slat of back has never widened in 20 yrs we've had the chair ! so fair to say not a problem ! Altogether good solid chair that after strip down,if desired,would become a charming "retro" piece of furniture.Proceeds go to group funds as with other items I list.Collection from either my home (Bedworth) or group venue (Earlsdon,Coventry).
