Brake Press Setter Operator

Role: Brake Press Setter / Operator Location: Brierley Hill Hours of work: 14:00 - 22:00 Monday – Friday Rate of pay: £13.57 Per Hour Mainstay Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Setter on behalf of our Brierley Hill based client. As a Brake Press Setter, you will be responsible for setting and operating of an set the machine from tooling lists and fully dimensioned component drawings to produce a range of components from thin gauge materials. Duties of the role: * Setting and operating Amada 7 axis Press Brake * Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment * Work to the current quality procedures in all tasks undertaken. * Be able to set and operate the machine and produce components dimensionally correct to drawing. * Be able to measure components using Vernier, angle protractor and thickness gauge and make adjustments to the tools to produce the part correct to drawing and quality requirements. * Identify when tools need regrinding, adjustments or replacing. * Be willing to train to operate other sheet metal processing machines. * A counterbalance FLT license would be beneficial Candidate Requirements: * Be able to work to engineering drawings. * Be able to work to process routes. * Previous experience in a production environment * Effective Communication – verbal. * Work place organisational and problem solving skills. * Be able to read and interpret dimensional drawings * Be able to use measuring tools to ensure accuracy and make required corrections Hours of work: * 14:00 - 22:00 Monday – Friday * £13.57 Per hour If you are interested in the role, please contact Aaron in our Walsall office
