Description

With one of the largest rail upgrade projects shortly due to commence in South Wales, a thriving rail consultancy are looking to expand their specialist E&P design team in Bristol to deliver a monumental package of electrical design work. As the project is in its infancy, you will have the opportunity to make your mark in the business whilst delivering this multi-billion-pound scheme spanning over the next 10 years. You can expect to be involved in LV-biased electrical design, including signalling power, points heating, substation design and more, all within a rail environment. As a Principal Engineer, you will be solely responsible for managing the team whilst working closely with the Engineering Manager, also undertaking CRE and CEM duties where required. For an experienced principal electrical design engineer, the salary on offer is upwards of £50k plus package including holidays, pension, healthcare and bonus.
