CHILDRENS RESIDENTIAL - Deputy Manager Salary £28,750 to £33,000 Essential Requirements * NVQ 3 In Children and Young People or equivalent * Full driving license with access to own transport * Ability to work shifts and Sleep-ins * Successful applicant must be over the age of 21 (regulatory requirement) * 1+ Years of crisis support experience The role is commutable distance from Derby, Mansfield, Burton-On-Trent, Lichfield, Tamworth, Nottingham, Stoke On Trent, Leeds, Cannock, Walsall, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Birmingham and surrounding areas. We have an urgent requirement for a Deputy Manager who has the experience and enthusiasm to make a difference to the lives of children & young people. This position will be based at a 4 bed residential children’s home for children and young people with EBD and would suit candidates with a minimum of 1 years' experience as an experienced Senior Support Worker who holds the NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent. Responsibilities: * Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers, to take the lead on shift and be responsible for the events on the shift * To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures * To communicate effectively with the team of staff coming onto shift ensuring that a thorough account of your shifts events has taken place * To provide written reports and documentation that truly reflects the progress of the YP for planning meetings/reviews * To set up, co-ordinate and review the children's files, Care plans, Risk Assessments, Behaviour Management Plans, Health Care Documentation, Agreements and Incentives * To undertake any training that is deemed appropriate to your position * To attend staff meetings and be a positive role model to the chi
