Description

Our client is a Hertfordshire based residential development business which works on private development projects and joint venture developments with housing associations. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will manage up to 3 projects of varying sizes from inception through to completion. You will have c10 years’ experience in quantity surveying working for a residential developer or main contractor and will have had exposure to housing association schemes. Some of your responsibilities will include: * Cost control, planning, forecasting and estimation * Valuations – including value engineering and management * Feasibility studies * Cost benefit analysis * Writing reports and preparing documents (plans, contracts, budgets etc.) * Risk analysis evaluations * Dispute resolution On offer is a basic salary of between £55,000 - £75,000 per annum depending on level, car allowance, pension, healthcare and very attractive bonus scheme.
