Based: London

Our client is a leading UK Pensions Administration provider, we are searching for an experienced Pensions Payroll Manager to join their team. This role will include supporting the Head of Member Services, with management responsibility for a number multi-disciplinary teams at multiple sites; Specifically, dealing with Data Management, Pensioner Payroll, Ad Hoc Payments and the associated Financial Control

Key Responsibilities of this role:



• Manage multi-disciplinary teams at multiple sites, with overall responsibility for data management, pensioner payroll, ad hoc payments and financial control in respect of the Schemes administered

• Have excellent understanding of the regulations and legislation relevant to public sector pension schemes and specifically relevant to Data and Payroll management, including TPR requirements

• To ensure that the administration business complies with regulations and legislation relevant to public sector pension schemes and specifcally Data and Payroll management, including compliance with the requirements of The Pensions Regulator

• Monitor staff workload and output is against internal performance standards

• Ensure that team leaders effectively supervise and motivate staff, including the appraisal process is undertaken so that staff are appropriately trained and have personal development plans designed to support a high performance culture and personal career success

• To assist the Head of Member Services to ensure the smooth delivery of core pension administration services, at all times seeking to review and develop the way the business operates in order to improve performance, efficiency, quality and overall service delivery

• To undertake key projects from time to time as appropriate

• To deal with appeals, complaints, ombudsman cases and ad hoc queries as appropriate
