Description

The Client: My client is a leading global supplier of security inspection systems. The Role: To ensure the effectiveness and prevalence of the Quality Management System and the Health and Safety System including the organisation’s adherence to the Quality Manual, Health and Safety Manual and supporting Standard Operating Procedures. Key Responsibilities: + Investigate the root cause of quality related problems and bring about appropriate corrective actions and improvements. + Perform internal audits and manage any corrective actions that arise. + Lead and generate minutes of company quality related meetings. + Assist the QA department with the management of the Health & Safety System. + Provide input in Material Review Board for disposition of faulty parts/assemblies. Where required action faults investigations through to root cause and implement solutions. + Implement fully validated changes and ECO's to support internal corrective actions + Provide Quality input into the product assembly processes including IVT and FAT activities, co-ordinating directly with Operations to resolve issues prior to equipment sign off. + Undertake product radiation surveys and undertake role of Radiation Protection Supervisor. + Collaborate with design, manufacturing and purchasing functions and to achieve optimum results, from initial product design through launch and mass production. + Provide agreed KPI’s to trend Quality performance in CAPA, Customer complaints, equipment performance/faults (RMA) and installation and servicing operations. + Provide Quality input on regulatory certification (CE) and configuration control including software Key Experience/Attributes: + Good and effective communication skills at all levels + ISO 9001 and Six Sigma understanding + Experience in a Regulatory Compliance- CE and software control + 1-3 years’ experience of working in a Quality Assurance role, ideally in a medical, Aerospace or Automotive environment.
