Field Service & Support Engineer

Do you love to travel? Are you happy to visit customers sites fixing and servicing our chemical spray machines? When you're not out with customers you'll provide 1st line technical support from our workshop in Birmingham. You'll only work Monday-Friday. JOB DESCRIPTION: Service engineer - Mechanical Engineer - Machinery Do you have a hands-on service / maintenance / technical support / mechanical engineering background? If so, we want to hear from you. We need an experienced mechanical engineer or service technician with a hands-on engineering background to provide technical support, service, and reactive maintenance on our machines when they break down. Our workshop is based in Birmingham, and we supply our machines to a variety of industrial customers, largely within a few hours of our site, but occasionally you may have to travel further and maybe stay away if you need to. You'll be home based - the split is about 80% service and planned preventative maintenance (PPM), 20% reactive covering technical support and troubleshooting.
