Fitness Pilates is training option that focuses on the body as a human kinetic chain. Exercise programes are designed to enchace the posture, strength,balance and stability of a healthy adult. Fitness Pilates is based upon the teaching of Joseph Pilates and effective excerise prescription. training option that focuses on the body as a human kinetic chain.

Improve core and back strength

Facilitate the client's ability to optimally function occupationally and recreationally

Maintaining stabilization of the core muscles whilst being challenged by movement of the limbs

Increase flexibility and strength of the lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine

The Pilates technique focuses on strengthening the center by relearning the mind and body to recruit core muscles. Basic involves finding and maintaining the neutral position during standing , prone and supine positions,

Classes start January 6th 2020 and will be 9.15am Mondays at Walmer Parish Hall, as well as Thursdays 7.15pm at Warden House Primary School. Spaces must be pre-booked in advance.
