Uncanny X-Men #539 - Published 29th June 2011 Hope has been kidnapped and there is only one mutant who can track her down: Wolverine! And when mutankind needs their messiah more than ever, will Logan do what's necessary to find Hope? 5.0 Grade - The basic minimum for most collectors but depends on your budget! This is a comic with wear showing on the edges or stress around the staples. Still clean and flat with a small mark or cover writing but I do mean small. Pages may be yellowing slightly but no brown edges. Above average, read a few times and stored away with at least some concern. A staple may be detached but, if that' the case, the rest of the comic should appear Very Fine. For British comics, a little more wear on the spine and cover is permissible and there may be some corner curl evident. British comics are all shapes and sizes so corners and edges suffer more. Again, think that this is a comic that has clearly been looked after in its history.

New X-Men #114 - Published 16th March 2001 E For Extinction Part 1 (of 3) Sixteen million mutants dead - and that's just the beginning! The destruction of Genosha is just the beginning of a new era for the X-Men. 9.0 Grade - Very slight wear beginning to show around the staples and stress points owing to the comic being opened and read (carefully) two or three times and stored away with some care. For American comics, most of the cover lustre still remains and for British comics the cover should be flat, uniform creamy or off-white with only a few very minor stress creases at the spine. For American comics, only the tiniest spine wear at the top or bottom but no cover marks, no tears, no prominent creases (perhaps 2mm and quite hard to spot). The pages can be creamy or off-white but in no way yellowing and with no darker page edges. For Very Fine, think simply Very Sharp.

X-Men Legacy #215 - Published 27th August 2008 Charles Xavier attempts to make peace with the X-Men who've been most important in his life. But starting with Scott Summers may have been a mistake - particularly when he decides to re-awaken some of Cyclops's worst nightmares against his will. 8.5 Grade - Very slight wear beginning to show around the staples and stress points owing to the comic being opened and read (carefully) two or three times and stored away with some care. For American comics, most of the cover lustre still remains and for British comics the cover should be flat, uniform creamy or off-white with only a few very minor stress creases at the spine. Uncanny X-Men #390 - Published 17th January 2001 Beast has discovered a cure for the Legacy Virus. The catch: the first mutant to use it dies! Uncanny X-Men #393 - Published 18th April 2001 While Magneto keeps Xavier hostage, Jean and the X-Men race to Genosha to prevent full-scale war. Uncanny X-Men #392 - Published 28th March 2001 War brews for man and mutant alike. Its origin: Genosha! 9.2 Grade - Almost perfect, almost as new, with white or off-white pages. Tight, flat and clean with only extremely light wear around an edge or a staple. At first glance you might think it is Mint but a second, closer inspection may reveal a tiny imperfection. The pages should be uniform in colour with no discernible edge difference. No staple rust. Near Mint really does mean near to mint condition. For American comics, a discreet UK pence stamp is permissible. For British comics, a neat, newsagent name (ideally in pencil) written at the top is permissible.

X-Men Legacy #255 - Published 14th September 2011 When Rogue, Magneto and Gambit jumped into space on an intergalactic search and rescue mission, they had no idea that it would land them in the middle of an extraterrestrial war! And to make matters worse, the space station that serves as the battlefield for the conflict is slowly falling into a collapsing star. With time running out and the lives of Havok, Polaris and Marvel Girl on the line, these X-Men are in for a bumpy ride... 8.5 Grade - Very slight wear beginning to show around the staples and stress points owing to the comic being opened and read (carefully) two or three times and stored away with some care.
