As a Tech Software and Services Buyer you'll support the development and execution of commercial sourcing strategies that provide a fit for purpose supply chain and deliver value for money to Sainsbury's Group. Provide analytical and research support to projects and activities across your category area. Support the execution of sourcing activity including the preparation and management of sourcing events (RFIs/ RFPs), supplier appraisal and selection, negotiation and contract. Develop and execute category plans for specific commodities, building understanding on internal and external supply markets and influencing stakeholders to obtain support for your ideas. Job Description To ensure that the service is being delivered in line with current legislation, policies and initiatives set by the UK and Scottish Governments and local policy with regard to the benefit appeals system. Respond to and investigate complaints and MP/MSP enquiries in respect of the benefit service in line with corporate policy. To co-ordinate and manage the development of Benefit Policy, strategies, procedures, performance and information to enable continuous improvement across the Benefit Service. Requirements Responsible for the administration of Benefit Appeals. Administration of Benefit Complaints and MP/MSP Enquiries. Develop, review and monitor the implementation of Benefit legislation within the Benefits Service ensuring that procedures, policies and strategies are fully compliant. Identify, consider and monitor welfare reform issues ensuring that procedures, policies and Service strategies are fully compliant.
