Contract: Permanent Salary: £25,000 Hours of work: DAYS. Mon-Thurs 8am-4.330pm, Fri 8am-1pm You will be Responsible for ensuring that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and minimum stock levels to ensure operational and production continuity. Able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production Key Tasks / Responsibilities: Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels Review customer long term forecasts and communicate demand with the supplier base whilst managing stock of run out parts where necessary. Utilise SAP to send material demands via EDI to suppliers where possible Minimise obsolete stock and ensure business is left with minimum liability Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time Regular and effective communication with internal departments. Support the NPI process Support internal alert process.
