The Role We are looking for Retail Team Drivers to add to our already successful team. This role will require you to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region Work will be carried out on different Retail customer sites / stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. You must follow the correct processes when notifying your count team of the pick-up points and timings for each shift Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner Completing a team attendance sheet, detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site. Whilst on site you will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner. Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock Key Skills/ Experience Required This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years . This role requires you to have a Full Driving License. You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts. With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required. Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity. We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the dynamic and international team at the ELIXIR Hub in Hinxton near Cambridge, UK. The main purpose of this role will be to provide PM support to internal and externally funded Infectious Diseases Activities (COVID-19) (e.g BY-COIVD, ELIXIR-CONVERGE and forthcoming grants) including the preparedness for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. These activities are expected to last until 31/4/2025 in alignment with the anticipated duration of Horizon Europe emergency calls and the ELIXIR internal projects. As a member of the ELIXIR Project Management Office you will support the PIs and Scientific Leads under the supervision of the Head of the ELIXIR Project Management Office. You will work closely with the ELIXIR PIs, Project Managers, Technical Coordinators, External Relations and the administrative team, as well as with colleagues at the 23 national ELIXIR Nodes and other project partners throughout Europe. This is a dynamic role and you will have the chance to actively contribute to further development of good project management practice and strong project management capabilities within the ELIXIR Hub and wider ELIXIR organisation. Your role Playing an active role ensuring that project deadlines, targets and objectives are successfully achieved by providing support, pro-active management and guidance to work-package leaders and partners; Contributing to the day-to-day management of project risks and opportunities including managing project performance indicators and risk register; Assisting the planning and budgeting processes, assembling and analysing metrics and outcomes, ensuring that all reporting requirements are met; Assisting with managing changes in the large consortium; Effectively and proactively communicating operational outcomes, risks, and ongoing processes to the ELIXIR Project Managers; Representing ELIXIR, in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
