Database Administrator- SQL

Database Administrator (DBA) This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, market leading software Solutions Company, offering beneficial development skills and support to their specialist market. The successful DBA will have the opportunity to work across a number of teams to design, implement, monitor and maintain SQL based systems. Database Administrator responsibilities: Design, implement, monitor, and maintain active SQL databases and systems. Additional SQL code refactoring to help ensure database performance. Liaise with a number of teams to provide database-related support. Act as the point of contact for escalated database customer queries. Database Administrator requirements: Commercial experience of MS SQL Server Administration, Microsoft Reporting services and Windows Active Directory. Ability to plan and work independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Qualification in SQL programming and administration (advantageous).
