Description

Possibility of a Permanent position after successfully completing validations in quality control and plant running of two or more process plants, temporary contract up to that point. Hours of work: Rotational 12hour shift pattern to cover 24/7, which will include Nights / Days /Weekends You will be operating a process plant to defined standards, providing information to plant development teams on variability and interventions. You will ensure that operators are fully competent by clearly defined standards of performance and behaviour. Day to day duties include: - - Ensuring products meet the standard for quality - Run the plant to standard operating procedures, which includes start-ups and changeovers - Liaising with plant development teams for improvement on standards - Maintain records on and hourly/daily basis, completing gap analysis - Ensuring observable standards are achieved for the line - Ensure safe working practices - Support training of process staff - Any other duties/ projects that are reasonable and within the skills and ability of the post holder The successful candidate will: - - Observant and very good at attention to detail - Escalate when and if problems occur - Challenge to ensure success is achieved - Good communication skills to interact with fellow team members - Team worker, ability to liaise with all fellow team members - Ability to focus on getting things done in a methodical and organized way - Attendance & Punctuality a necessity
